Terms of Service
Community and agreement
These terms cover this Discord server and its Minecraft Java and Bedrock events, owned and operated by Jad, the owner's public name. Owner legal location: Georgia, United States. By joining the server and participating after these terms have been made available to you, you agree to these terms, the server rules and each event's announced rules. Contact: contact@glurps.net. Eligibility and verification
You must be at least 13 and meet Discord's minimum age for your country. Members under 18 may participate if they meet the minimum age requirement and obtain parent or guardian permission where required. Provide accurate Minecraft account information and do not impersonate others or evade restrictions. Our bot links your Discord ID with Java or Bedrock usernames, platform and verification timestamps, and a Java UUID where available. It may update your server nickname and platform roles. Verification requirements are stated for each event. Username checks do not establish legal identity or necessarily prove account ownership.
Participation and fair play
Participation is free: there are no entry fees or purchases. Follow event rules and staff instructions. Harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, unauthorized advertising and sharing private information are prohibited. Do not cheat, use prohibited mods or exploits, evade bans or deliberately disrupt events. Report bugs privately to staff. Schedules, availability and progress may change because of technical or operational issues. Most events have no prizes. Any announced rewards are server roles or similar community perks, subject to the event rules; no reward is guaranteed unless expressly announced. We do not currently accept donations or offer paid memberships. If we introduce Patreon or another paid support option, we will announce its terms and update these documents before launch.
Moderation and appeals
Staff may issue warnings, timeouts, removals, disqualifications or bans according to the circumstances and severity, including harmful conduct not specifically listed. Appeal through a support ticket or contact@glurps.net. Do not retaliate against reporters or evade moderation.
Availability and liability
Events are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility, preserved worlds or progress, or protection from every participant's misconduct. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by outages, third-party services or other participants. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third party services and privacy
Discord, Minecraft and Microsoft services have their own terms and privacy policies. Hosting providers and the bots and integrations described in the Privacy Policy also process information for their respective services. Not an official Minecraft event. Verification and other community data are covered by our Privacy Policy.
Recordings and publication
Events may be recorded or streamed, including gameplay, voice, in-game or Discord usernames, avatars, chat and submitted event content. By knowingly participating in a recorded event after receiving notice, you authorize Jad and authorized staff to capture your participation. You grant Jad a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute and display your recorded participation for event coverage, highlights and promotion, including monetized publication, on platforms and at times Jad chooses. Recordings may be retained indefinitely, subject to applicable law. The license is intended to continue after you leave the server, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived. It applies only to the extent you hold those rights and applicable law permits. Attribution, payment and approval of edits are not guaranteed. Jad owns the original recording and editing contributions created by Jad or validly assigned to Jad; appearing in a recording does not give you ownership of those contributions. This does not transfer your separately owned content, third-party rights or rights that cannot legally be waived. Our routine deletion policy does not include deleting event recordings or removing individual participation from them. You may still raise privacy concerns or exercise removal and other rights required by applicable law, as explained in the Privacy Policy. These terms and the recording notice must be available before recorded participation. Joining or participating does not replace separate consent where legally required.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits nonwaivable consumer or privacy rights or access to courts where those rights apply.
