Discord server and Minecraft events
Privacy Policy
Scope and responsibility
This policy covers this Discord server, its Minecraft Java and Bedrock events and its custom bot. Jad, the owner's public name, owns and operates the community and is responsible for its handling of information. Owner legal location: Georgia, United States. Contact: contact@glurps.net; alternative: contact@stilljad.com. Version dated October 13, 2026. Effective upon publication in the server.
Information we handle
We handle Discord IDs, usernames, server nicknames and nickname changes; Minecraft Java and Bedrock usernames, platform, Java UUIDs and verification timestamps; event applications, answers, participation and decisions; support tickets, messages, attachment references and transcripts; moderation cases, reasons, reports and evidence; chat and server logs, including IP addresses; screenshots, recordings and replay files. The bot also maintains XP, ranks, role assignments and related activity records. Information comes from your submissions, Discord interactions and event server activity.
Why we use information
We use information for account linking, event registration and administration, support, moderation, investigation of cheating, security and community features such as levels and roles. Java username checks send the username to the Mojang profile API and return its public profile and UUID. The bot may change your Discord server nickname and platform roles. Edited or deleted messages may remain in staff logs; deleting a message or unlinking verification is not a complete privacy deletion request.
Storage access and services
one.com hosts the bot; Foxomy hosts the Minecraft server; Caliber provides the Bedrock network relay. These providers process hosted records or connection traffic needed for their respective services. Our custom bot stores records in a database and ticket system files on its host. It incorporates self-hosted Open Ticket software. Ticket transcripts are stored as files in Discord with references in the bot database, and may be provided to the ticket opener and administrators. Authorized staff access information needed for their duties; public nicknames, messages, levels and leaderboards may be visible to other members. Discord and Microsoft process information under their own policies: https://discord.com/privacy and https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. We occasionally use Google Forms for applications or other event submissions. Google receives the information you submit through those forms and processes it under https://policies.google.com/privacy; we use the responses for the stated event or form purpose. We do not sell member personal information or share it for advertising. Hosting, event administration and publication of recordings described here are separate uses. Services may process information outside your country under their own policies.
Retention and deletion requests
Operational records are retained unless you request deletion, subject to applicable legal limits. Leaving the server does not itself trigger deletion. Email contact@glurps.net or contact@stilljad.com with your Discord ID or account reference and the records you want removed. We aim to delete eligible records from active systems we control within two to three weeks after receiving the request and sufficient information to identify them. We may ask for proportionate account verification. This covers our bot database, ticket files, bot-created Discord logs and transcripts, Google Forms responses and copies we control, and Minecraft server logs where eligible. Discord-held account data and native Discord audit logs are controlled by Discord and are not deleted by our process; contact Discord about its records. Event recordings are excluded from our routine deletion policy, as explained below. Backups have no scheduled expiry and may be retained indefinitely, subject to applicable legal requirements. We do not remove individual records from existing backups. If a backup is restored, we manually reapply completed deletion requests before using restored personal information. A minimal record needed to identify and reapply the deletion may therefore be retained. We will explain any retained records and the reason. Applicable statutory rights and deadlines take precedence over these policies.
Recordings and deletion limits
Events may capture gameplay, voices, usernames, avatars and chat. Under the permission described in the Terms of Service, recordings may be edited, streamed or published for event coverage, highlights or promotion, including monetized publication, at times and on platforms we choose. Original and edited recordings may be retained indefinitely. Credit is not guaranteed. Our standard policy is not to delete recordings or remove individual participation from them in response to routine deletion requests. This policy does not override applicable legal duties to delete, restrict or otherwise address personal information. Contact either email above with privacy concerns or legally required removal requests. Copies independently saved or published by others are outside our direct control.
Rights and policy updates
You may request access, correction, unlinking or deletion using either contact email above. Removing verification can prevent joining events that require it. Requests to us do not delete information independently held by Discord, Microsoft or other providers. Mandatory rights under applicable federal, state or international law remain available. Participation requires meeting Discord age requirements. Updates will be announced in the server with an updated effective date.
